You are what your deep, driving desire is.

As your desire is, so is your will.

As your will is, so is your deed.

As your deed is, so is your destiny.

-Brihadaranyaka Upanishad IV.4.5

My deep driving desire for as long as I can remember has been to make a success of my life.  And success in life could be defined as the continued expansion of happiness, and the progressive realisation of worthy goals. (*thanks Deepak :)

I found yoga during my final year of university. Good timing, considering I had just decided that law would not be the career for me.  It started out as a crush, and in no time developed into a love affair... I found myself skipping lectures in the mornings, and sneaking out of lectures in the afternoons to attend yoga classes.

Fast forward a number of years, and my love for yoga is stronger than ever, and keeps growing every time I step on my mat.  Sharing this gift with others is my reason, I believe, for becoming a teacher.

The Yoga Warrior teacher training course has given me this foundation.  It has turned my love affair with yoga into a marriage for life.

Yoga has become my deep driving desire now.

See you on the mat,

Namaste :)
