YOGA for Beginners - if you are new to yoga we recommend starting with the basics. Beginners Yoga Flow on Mondays @ 1645 and Saturdays @ 11am (both 60 minutes) introduce a gentle flow with basic postures.  If you are a total beginner or rusty or have never been to Yoga Warrior before, either of these are a good place to start.


YOGA Express  -
this is open to any level of yoga experience. Experienced practitioners should come with a "beginners mind". We will practice all the yoga fundamentals but there will also be opportunities for more experienced students to take particular poses to a more advanced stage. (60 minutes)

  Just as it sounds, an hour of yoga happiness.  Suitable for all levels. (60 minutes)


YOGA Flow -
this is a general level class but still holds challenge. Here you will learn the fundamentals of yoga postures. We will practice different yogic breathing techniques, and how to link each movement with the breath. We will build strength and flexibility and cultivate awareness of the alignment of the body in poses as this is vital for balancing body and mind. This class is suitable for all levels (75 minutes)


Forrest YOGA -
this is an intense style of yoga focused on healing injuries physical and spiritual.  Ana Forrest the "creatrix" of this style has established a name for herself as one of the greatest healers alive.  This style is derived from Native American Indian healing rituals, so you might not recognise some of the pose names and your might sense that you are working on a deeper level than just your physical self, these are very common aspects of a Forrest yoga class.  Forrest Yoga is renowned as an intensely physical, internally focused practice that emphasises how to carry a transformative experience off the mat and into daily life.  We work in-depth with the breath and time spent in each pose we visit will allow you time to penetrate parts of yourself you never knew existed.  You'll leave soaked to the bone with life and curious to feel more. Suitable for all levels (90 minutes)


Warrior YOGA Flow - this is a general level class but is particularly for those who want a class that focuses more on building strength and stamina than flexibility.  We will explore sun salutations that will warm up the body, of course some warrior poses and some more difficult poses that will lift your strength game.  This class will keep moving, so you will work hard and probably sweat, but in the process you will brighten and buff your body and soul!  This class is suitable for all levels.  (75 minutes)


Anusara Style YOGA -
A flow yoga class, using the Universal Principles of Alignment and Heart-related themes, that will deepen and grow your understanding of what Yoga really is. This class is strongly guided by the teachings of Anusara Yoga. Join us as we celebrate and “Align with the Divine” in a beautiful flowing mala of postures. This class is suitable for all lovers of yoga. (75 minutes)


YOGA Panther -
Iyengar YOGA taught by Lars Krüger, a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor (Introductory Level II).  Based on the teachings of BKS Iyengar, one of the world's most influential yoga masters, this invigorating method of hatha yoga focuses on precise alignment, posture and attention to subtle details.  The classical poses are held for longer periods of time, taught in a safe and systematic progression and adjusted to meet the physical conditions and needs of each student.  The sequences are designed to give the body a challenging workout and at the same time develop self-awareness to improve concentration, relieve tension and calm the mind. This class is suitable for all levels. (80 minutes)


Advanced YOGA Play -
Finally we get to play.  A class dedicated to indulging in exotic postures, creative sequences and music that get the good vibes flowing.  In this class we will explore postures that test our edges, giving you the opportunity to expand boundaries and encourage growth in your practice.  Allowing the impossible to feel obtainable.  "Advanced" is often misunderstood for flexiblity or contortionism the "leg behind the leg cliche" but in this class we will touch on the skill of uniting breath with body, moving through advance sequences with fluidity of movement, a technique so rewarding it will delight your spirit and bring you back excited for more.  This is class is a level 3 and super advanced.  This class is by invitation only, ask Clara or Melanie if you feel you can walk the talk. (120 minutes.  Class cards and package do not apply.  This class runs only once a month and costs a flat R120)
 


Pregnancy YOGA - this is open to any woman past her 1st Trimester or 14 weeks. This is a basic yoga class that includes yogic breathing techniques that will benefit your baby. We will practice different yoga poses that will enable you to develop strength and flexibility and support you carrying and delivering your baby. (60 minutes)
