Paige's Halloween Thriller
"'Cause this is thriller, thriller night"
October 31st at 6pm, 2008

I'm Starting With The Man In The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change His Ways
And No Message Could Have Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And Then Make A Change

On Halloween night 2008, Yoga Warrior hosted American travelling yoga teacher, Paige Chapman for a special one night only THRILLER!  Think Pumpkins, Halloween cats, Black is so in, tricks AND treats, outrageously funky music and cocktails!

Before Michael Jackson became even more legendary in his passing, we brought his iconic tunes to one night in Jozi at Yoga Warrior.  Who would have thought that MJ and yoga would be so uplifting.  The memory of this fun night live on: soul, warmth and yoga.... as ever delivering food for thought alongside these unforgettable lyrics.

What about sunrise
What about rain
What about all the things
That you said we were to gain...
What about killing fields
Is there a time
What about all the things
That you said was yours and mine...
Did you ever stop to notice
All the blood we've shed before
Did you ever stop to notice
This crying Earth its weeping shores?

One day in your life
You'll remember the love you found here
You'll remember me, somehow
Though you don't need me now
I will stay in your heart
And when things fall apart
You'll remember one day

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

After living in New York and San Francisco, Paige relocated to her hometown of Philadelphia.  Paige was certified at OM yoga studio, NYC (at the same time as Clara) and is inspired to teach yoga through her love of dance, movement, and healing.  In her travels Paige has been lucky enough to study with such Yoga greats as John Friend, Rodney Yee, Joan White, Kofi Busia, Anna Forrest, Amy Ippoliti, Brian Kest, Jason Crandell, Betty Roi, Erich Schiffmann, and many more.  Paige teaches a juicy blend of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga inspired by the Iyengar tradition of integrating body, mind and emotions.  She especially loves to teach people who are aspiring to create more balance in their lives.  Her classes are light, relaxing, playful, and deliciously rejuvenating.
